After a steady stream of releases in the form of edits, tracks, remixes and videos in 2016 and 2017, Toronto based DJ and producer Cozmic Cat (Paula Burrows) is quietly dropping her own first full length album. The album “#CozmicLove” is geared towards house music lovers , showing repect and love to deep and classic house sounds and culture from different eras and geographical locations. #CozmicLove clocks in at 12 tracks, ranging from the thumping “Bassline Sound ” (previously released as the first single) to the dreamy downtempo “Hard Life Reprise”, which features cello from Baroque Quartet iFuriosi's Felix Deak. Most tracks on the full length album straddle the dance floor and lounge world simultaneously, with plenty of percussive energy, vintage chords and pads mixed with soulful samples, as well as her own vocal styling on such tracks as “Disco Droid”.
