Cozmic Cat- Gotta Believe E.P Release
I'm so excited to share my new collections of tracks with you all ! I wrote “Gotta Believe” during a peaceful snowy winter retreat at Gibraltar Point Center for the Arts on the Toronto Island. While the setting was tranquil, my heart was on fire with creative juices and no distractions. It was perfect spot to create, and the tracks flew out of me like I was a bit possessed. I made "Gotta Believe" as a message to my Black creative community: Validation may be elusive, you may never feel "seen”, so be your own strongest supporter, believe in your sound, and know that you are enough. I wanted this track to convey an urgency and a confident, driving energy in the Bassline that moves you through it... Like the energy of my community, never stopping. I wanted the listener to feel “Hey, we got this!” like kind of a spark of hope on and off the dance floor “Good energy is powerful!
